During a recent concert in London, SZA told the crowd that her ex-boyfriend cheated on her in the city.
According to an Instagram post on Capitalxtra’s official account, the singer told the audience how she felt about being cheated on.”I never told anybody, but like, my boyfriend cheated on me in this city before,” she said. “It was terrible. That’s why I was really sad to come here, but you guys made it so much better. Thank you! This song is about my other trash ex-boyfriend.” SZA continued.

According to People, SZA recently opened up to Elle about when her ex’s father texted her and addressed her and his son’s relationship. “My ex’s father just texted me and was like, ‘My son is really hurt about what you said about him to the crowd. You don’t get to block me on everything. Tell our mutual friends terrible things about me like I’m a monster, or whatever the case may be. And then I don’t get to speak my piece in my way. You go do your healing and I’ll do mine.” SZA said during the interview.
The text message followed SZA’s concert in Portland when she mentioned the person she wrote her songs about. “He’s not here ’cause I’m blocked on everything. This one is extra sad because I did write this song about the person that lives here… F—. Being blocked on everything is so f—ing hard.” she said and the sang the song Nobody Gets Me.
