NYFW is upon us and we’ve been studying the runway looks to gather the top trending hair and beauty fads from this year’s shows. One thing is for sure- NYFW did not disappoint when it came to creating show-stopping looks. Be sure to check out our round-up below of the top trends from this season!
Glass Skin
Hydrated, dewy, and ultra-glowy skin was the runway standard this year! NYFW focused on creating a simple, fresh face base for many of its models participating in the shows because it truly allowed onlookers to focus on the outfits, hair, and eyes. You can achieve this same look with glowy moisturizers, hydrating primers, and face gloss, focusing the product on the high points of your face.
Bold Hairstyles
From big, fluffy ponytails to embellished styles and sky-high designs, hair played a huge role in bringing NYFW to new heights. We loved seeing how designers used hair as a way to incorporate a fun statement element into their looks and the styles we saw were absolutely fabulous. They were avant-garde in the best way and screamed high fashion. We can’t wait to see fashion lovers around the world draw inspo from the hairstyles seen at this year’s NYFW.

Slicked Back Hair
Kim K’s Met Gala look seemingly inspired the slicked-back look other designers chose to incorporate into their shows at this year’s NYFW. The “just got out of the Ocean” vibe has definitely been trending and from the looks of these runways, there seems to be no stopping it! This is a style we will definitely be seeing more of and it’s super easy for anyone to recreate, whether you want to slick your hair back into a bun or leave it long and luscious. With this look, your hair looks glossy shiny, and sexy- what’s not to love?
Bright Eye Shadow
Euphoria who? NYFW saw bright, bold and super fun eye shadow looks that absolutely scream springtime. From baby blues to classic jewel tones, these eye shadow looks absolutely slayed the runways and brought entire looks together. Want to recreate this look for yourself? Find your favourite pastel eye shadow colour and sweep it across your lids for a truly show-stopping look!
