The main performance being critiqued is her live rendition of ‘‘Juno.” In the song, Sabrina expresses her desire to have a baby with her male partner. The main controversy is when Sabrina sings, “have you ever tried this one‘‘ where she makes a suggestive pose. In a similar fashion to her ”Nonsense” outros, Sabrina does a different pose for each performance.

Entertainment journalists and pop fans have both pointed out that Sabrina’s lyrics are inherently sexual. Therefore, her performances were obviously going to reflect that. In addition, while the pop star does have young fans, her music is catered to audiences around her age or older. Despite her cute style choices, the artist has been clear that her music is not for young audiences.

However, audience members, especially parents, have still allegedly been making degrading comments about the pop star online.
Sabrina has stated that backlash is part of being an artist and that her shows are not meant for the people openly critiquing her.
“You’ll still get the occasional mother that has a strong opinion on how you should be dressing,” she said in an interview. “And to that I just say, don’t come to the show and that’s OK.”
