Who doesn’t like surprises on their birthday? The Legendary singer Diana Ross made a surprise entry at the SoFi stadium.

Beyoncé turned 42 on Monday, she was performing at the SoFi stadium in Inglewood, CA, as a part of her Renaissance Tour. The concert was jampacked with Beyhive fans. In the first two concerts at SoFi, we saw impressive celebrity turnout. Even on Monday, it was a star-studded affair with the presence of Adele, Katy Perry, Chris Rock, Kate Hudson, Lizzo, Normani, Brandy, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Kim and Khloé Kardashian.

However, the main entrant and the surprise element was Diana Ross. There was a huge cheer from the crowd, the moment she arrived on the stage. Then she started singing “Happy Birthday”, and made the crowd sing as well.

Later, she gave a heartfelt birthday speech, where she thanked her parents Matthew and Tina Knowles and her husband Jay-Z.

“I’m thankful for every tear, for every year. I’m thankful for my children. I’m thankful for my husband. I’m thankful for all the shit we’ve been through. I’m thankful for my beautiful father who is here tonight; I thank you for his sacrifice, for his pain. I’m thankful for my mother, my beautiful queen. I’m thankful that we all have the ability to make lemonade out of our lemons.”

She even gave a shoutout to the members of Destiny’s Child group, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, LeToya Luckett, and LaTavia Robertson.

“I’m thankful for Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, LeToya Luckett, LaTavia Robertson. I’m thankful for all of you guys who have been with me since 1997. I’m thankful for every flaw, for every stretch mark, every FUPA. I thank you that I’m here at fucking 42. I’m grateful for joy and I thank God. I thank you, God.”

In the end, it’s fair to say that it was the ultimate birthday concert for Beyoncé.
