Kanye West Shocks With Apparent Confession To Incestuous Relationship With Male Cousin

July 03, 2025 – Kanye West recently opened up about his alleged sexual experiences with his male cousin when he was a kid.
“My name is Ye and I sucked my cousins d–k till I was 14,” Kanye West posted on X, April 21st.
Rapper and record producer, West has never watered down his statements for anyone. Since his rise to fame, he’s delivered raw and explicit statements, and this time, he’s shocked the entire world.
In his recent X post, he details an explicit and traumatic part of his childhood. He revealed that he had an alleged incestuous relationship with his male cousin, which inspired his new song. “This song is called COUSINS about my cousin that’s locked in jail for life for killing a pregnant lady a few years after I told him we wouldn’t ‘look at dirty magazines together’ anymore,” he wrote in the post. West expresses a feeling of guilt about his cousin’s fate and his actions, stating: “perhaps in my self centered mess I felt it was my fault that I showed him those dirty magazines when he was 6 and then we acted out what we saw.”
West allegedly exposed himself and his cousin to X-rated magazines, after finding the publications “in the top of [his] mom’s closet.”
Kanye West’s Alleged Incestuous Relationship A Marketing Ploy?
West’s confession shocked the internet. Some immediately tried to calculate how old West’s cousin would have been during this time. Others sympathized with him, calling for this childhood trauma to be taken seriously, and others were disturbed by the news.
Some, however, believe this post to be partially a marketing tactic. “You need to understand how Kanye works, and his marketing genius. I’m not discounting the trauma of this but he uses shock to drive his marketing campaigns,” posted Mystical Pharaoh.
Live Mint agreed with this statement, saying how “the social media post has now gone viral, with more than 10 million views.”
West has always been active on social media. He has currently been very vocal about wanting to see his and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s kids.
