Moreover, there was a mini ‘Home Alone’ reunion with Culkin’s onscreen mother Catherine O’Hara attending the ceremony.

O’Hara praised her co-star for his “perfect performance” in the movies that made him a household name.

“The reason families all over the world can’t let a year go by without watching and loving Home Alone together is because of Macaulay Culkin,” O’Hara said.

“It is Macaulay’s perfect performance as Kevin McCallister that gave us that little every boy on an extraordinary adventure.”

Also attending on Friday’s Walk of Fame ceremony was a mix of family and friends of Macaulay Culkin.

Culkin’s siblings Quinn Culkin and Rory Culkin were there, and both looked on proudly as they supported their brother.

But perhaps the most surprising attendant was Culkin’s goddaughter, Paris Jackson.

Daughter of late pop legend, Michael Jackson.

Jackson sat nearby the family and greeted her godfather with a heartfelt congratulatory hug.

It’s sweet that a bond exists between them and it’s incredible she was there for such a meaningful moment.

Lastly, Macaulay Culkin’s co-star in ‘Adam Green’s Aladdin’ in 2016 also spoke briefly about how proud she was of him.

“Nothing makes me happier than to see you existing so concretely on your own terms,” Lyonne praised Culkin.

“With no loss of your underlying eccentricity or absurdist outlook, or big picture, big heart perspective.”

“I love you and you’re a king.”
