Harry Styles has won the 2021 Grammy Award for Best Pop Solo Performance for his hit song: “Watermelon Sugar”. This is his first Grammy win ever.

He won the award over songs by Billie Eilish, Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, and Doja Cat. He was also nominated for Best Music Video for “Adore You” and Best Pop Vocal Album for “Fine Line”; those nominations were won by Beyoncé and Dua Lipa

“I feel very grateful to be here. All these songs are incredible” he said during his acceptance speech.

Styles opened up the televised ceremony with a performance accompanied by Dev Hynes. He wore an interesting outfit while he took the stage in a leather suit and green feather boa while performing his winning track in a more brooding tone than the recorded version.

The singer has been hitting the top charts with his album since it was released in December 2019.
