Britney Spears and Sam Asghari shared this heartbreaking news in an Instagram post. The singer announced that she and her fiance had a miscarriage and had lost her “miracle baby.”

The singer and fiance Sam Asghari shared the sorrow with fans. The couple wrote: “We have to announce, with great grief, that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy. This is a difficult time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited until we were farther along to announce, but we were too excited to share the wonderful news.”

Her statement continued, “Our strength comes from our love for one another.” We shall keep trying to expand our great family. We are grateful for all of your support. During this difficult time, we humbly seek privacy.”

Condolences flooded the comment section of Spears’ post, as fans shared their grief.

Britney, who has two boys with ex-husband Kevin Federline, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, started dating personal trainer and actor Asghari after appearing together in her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016.

Spears disclosed on April 11, following a surprising post-vacation weight gain that she was pregnant with her third child. “My husband said, ‘No, you’re food pregnant, silly…'” So I took a pregnancy test… and uhhhhh… “I’m having a baby,” Spears stated at the time. 

The 28-year-old also expressed his feelings on social media after learning of his fiancée’s pregnancy. He wrote, “Marriage and children are a natural aspect of a strong relationship filled with love and respect”. “Fatherhood is something I’ve always looked forward to, and it’s not something I take lightly. This is the most important job I’ll ever have.”

According to Spears and Asghari, they will “continue to strive to extend their wonderful family.” “We will experience a miracle soon,” Asghari added.
