The 25-year-old singer attended the Urban One Honors: Best in Black event in Atlanta, where she told PEOPLE how her sister Halle was “on cloud nine” after the birth of her and rapper DDG’s son Halo, adding that the pregnancy was the “best kept secret ever.”
As to how exactly the sisters managed to keep baby Halo a secret, Chloe went on to say how she always kept her sister’s secrets. “I keep all her other secrets. So this was just another one in the books.”

Earlier this month, the Little Mermaid actress took to Instagram to announce the birth of her son, Halo. In a sweet Instagram post, Bailey posted a photo of her manicured hand holding her newborn son’s. A gold bracelet that reveals his name to be Halo visible.
The new mother captioned the photo by saying, “even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring my son.. welcome to the world my halo 🥰👼🏽 ✨ the world is desperate to know you 😉🤣♥️”

In the days since revealing to the world her newborn son, the American singer-songwriter and her sister shared a few posts on social media of her baby bump, including a TikTok of her and sister Chloe dancing to “Rich Baby Daddy” by Drake, SZA, and Sexyy Red.

Urban One Honors: Best in Black Atlanta Debut Album
Chloe Bailey was attending the Urban One Honors: Best in Black event. Best in Black, which airs February 25 on TV One and CLEO TV, acknowledges “individuals whose remarkable achievements and significant contributions have left an indelible mark on the arts, media, music, and the community.” Taking place at the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta, Chloe received a Generation Next Honor recognition and performed “Feel Me Cry” from her debut album In Pieces.
